The marriage of Roby Tremonti and Aurelie Moeremans took place on October 10, 2011. When asked if there was a divorce or if they were handling annulment through the church, Roby said there was none.

"From my side, no. She just left this house," said Roby.

2. Roby Tremonti Has Never Held the Marriage Annulment Letter

Roby confirmed that their separation has not been legally formalized. He is aware of the annulment letter circulating online but stated that he has never held that letter at all.

"From my side, there is none. I don’t know, but what is circulating in the online world is that annulment letter. But the official letter from the church stating that there is an annulment of the marriage, I have never held that," said Roby, who stated that his separation from Aurelie did not happen amicably.

Aurelie has explained that she has received a letter indicating the marriage is invalid, or a marriage cancellation. When asked if Roby had ever checked this with the church, he only responded about the chat he received from Aurelie.

"There was a time, I forgot which year, a chat came in. She just said, in other words, 'Don't be a bothersome person' (in English). I want to take care of the cancellation, but the requirement for the Catholic church is that each partner must provide a narrative about why they want to do that. So there I was (asked) to write that I committed domestic violence. It’s impossible, I didn’t do it. That’s the answer," said Roby.

4. Roby Tremonti Claims His Marriage to Aurelie is Valid According to Catholicism

Regarding their marriage, Roby briefly explained about marriage in the Catholic context. For him, his marriage to Aurelie is already valid.

"To clarify, a Catholic marriage is valid if the requirements are met, 18 years old, even if the parents do not agree, according to the church it is valid to marry. This is no longer a polemic," he explained.

When asked whether their marriage was reported to the civil registry, Roby explained what happened at that time. Regarding Aurelie's parents who did not agree, but the church provides a guardian for them.

"And in Catholicism, the religious marriage has a letter, a letter from the church, to be submitted to the civil registry. But it has circulated in the online world that her parents do not agree. And the church, in case of a conflict, for example, if the parents do not agree, the church may appoint a guardian who is willing to be the guardian for the party whose parents do not agree."

6. Roby Tremonti Claims He Was Never Summoned to Church Court

Regarding the liber (marriage freedom) letter received by Aurelie, both parties should have been summoned to the church court first, but Roby claims there was no such matter.

"There isn’t any. I never felt that I received an invitation from the church regarding annulment. There is none," he concluded.
