Viral AI Song Allegedly Insulting Slank, Kuburan Band Immediately DMs Kaka

The song is alleged to belong to the eccentric music group Kuburan Band and is accused of mocking the latest work of the legendary band Slank titled Republik Fufufafa. This immediately triggered a debate among netizens and music fans.

Responding to the hot issue, Kuburan Band personnel, Denny Rahmat Ramdani (bassist) and Raka Auliantara (guitarist), immediately spoke up to clarify the misunderstanding. Denny firmly denied his band's involvement in the creation of the controversial song and mentioned that there was a tagging error on social media.

"We can confirm that it is actually not true, it seems like a wrong tag," said Denny when met by the media crew on Tuesday (6/1/2026).

1. Suspicious Since the Beginning

Denny explained that from the very beginning of listening to the song, they had already felt suspicious. According to him, there are certain characteristics that indicate the song is not a human creation, but rather a product of artificial intelligence technology or Artificial Intelligence (AI).

"Even though we immediately realized that the song, in our opinion, is very AI-like. Just from the music, it's obvious," added Denny.

In agreement with his colleague, Raka also highlighted the technical aspects of the song which he deemed too perfect. He joked that the music performance in the song is too tidy for a human band, further strengthening the suspicion of AI usage.

"Because there's no one who plays music that neatly. It's too tidy for us to say that it's an original song made by a human," Raka chimed in while laughing.

2. Direct DM to Kaka

Not wanting the wild ball to keep rolling and ruin the good relationship with Slank, Kuburan Band acted quickly. Denny admitted he immediately contacted Slank's vocalist, Kaka, through direct message on Instagram to provide clarification.

"We contacted Mas Kaka. Because even though we rarely meet, we have performed together, we feel quite close," revealed Denny.

Fortunately, Kaka welcomed the explanation and responded casually. Kaka had also realized that the song was created by a robot. In fact, Kaka even apologized because the name Kuburan Band got dragged into this controversy.

"Even Mas Kaka prayed for it, he felt bad that Kuburan Band got involved because of Slank.. He was worried it might disrupt the promotion of our new song, which just released, Ajeng," said Denny relieved.

4. AI Technology Becomes a Double-Edged Sword

Denny likened this AI phenomenon to an enemy in the movie Mission Impossible. He feels that this technology can be a double-edged sword that has the potential to create discord if not handled wisely.

"So this issue is like the work of an Entity or AI entity in that movie. The entity is based on AI, so it’s like inciting conflict. Luckily, no one is being held hostage, right?" Denny concluded with his characteristic humor.
