Band pop punk from Bandung, Rocket Rockers is back with their latest work titled Yang. This song was officially released on March 22, 2026, marking an important moment in their long journey in the Indonesian music industry. After nearly 27 years of making music, Rocket Rockers has finally released their first religious single. This step brings a new color to their discography, which has been known for its energetic and spirited pop punk vibe.

The release of Yang also marks a special collaboration with Semesta Records, a label owned by Rian Ekky Pradipta, who also serves as Executive Producer. This collaboration brings a more reflective musical approach filled with spiritual meaning.

Rian expressed his interest in this project since the first time he heard the demo of the song. He noticed a significant difference compared to previous works of Rocket Rockers that made this project feel special. "This song has a theme that is very different from previous works of Rocket Rockers, with a more specific approach to the values of divinity. That's what makes me feel this project is important to support," he said.

From the band's internal perspective, vocalist and guitarist Aska Rocket Rockers mentioned that this song was born from a more reflective phase of life. He admitted that he now wants to bring more positive energy through his music works.

Personal experiences, including health conditions he had faced, became a turning point in the creative process of this song. This made Aska find a new perspective in interpreting life and spirituality.

Bassist Bisma Rocket Rockers considers this song a new exploration for the band, which has been around since the late 1990s. He mentioned that the religious theme is something they had not addressed before.
