Rossa Willing to Be a Voice Actor for Ants Without Payment at the Pipilaka Calling Exhibition

The pop diva of the homeland, Sri Rossa Roslaina Handiyani, or commonly known as Rossa, once again shows her concern for social issues. This time, she is involved in a unique environmental education installation project titled 'Pipilaka Calling'. Interestingly, in this project, Rossa is trying out a new experience as a voice actor or dubber for an ant character.

Rossa explains that 'Pipilaka' itself is derived from Sanskrit, meaning ant. This character becomes the main icon in the installation exhibition held at the Sarinah shopping center, Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

"This is an art exhibition, there is a digital aspect, an immersive aspect, and activities for children to learn how we should take care of the environment," said Rossa when met at Sarinah, Central Jakarta on Monday, (15/12/2025).

The main goal of 'Pipilaka Calling' is to instill environmental awareness from an early age in the next generation. This noble vision is what made the singer of the song Tegar enthusiastically welcome the collaboration offer that came to her.

"I’m really happy, I mean, as much as possible, whatever we can do for others and make ourselves useful, we should take advantage of it. Because life is so short like that," explained the former wife of Yoyo Padi.

Surprisingly, Rossa revealed that the involvement of the artists in this project is purely social. They do not receive any material compensation for their contributions. "None of us are getting paid, at all," Rossa emphasized their commitment.

The spirit of mutual cooperation is the main foundation for these celebrities to support the educational mission initiated by Wahyadi Liem. For them, this is a tangible contribution to society. "Mutual cooperation," Rossa added briefly but meaningfully.
