Fedi Nuril Reveals His Latest Film 'BAPAKMU KIPER', A Family Comedy with a Fresh Theme

Your Father is a Goalkeeper follows the story of Ronaldhino Sujatmiko, also known as Dino (18), who has believed for the past seven years in one thing: his mother's death is his father's fault, Warto (39), a fishmonger and former tarkam champion who is more skilled in gambling on football. Since then, Dino has learned not to expect too much from his father.

The opportunity to escape his village life appears through the Tarkam Super Cup, the last stage for talent seekers before the door to professional leagues closes tightly. However, problems arise when his favorite team, Serigala Sakti, is taken over by another party just before the finals.

Fedi Nuril, as one of the main actors, believes this film brings something rarely addressed in Indonesian cinema, which is the world of tarkam.

"There are many films about professional football, but stories about tarkam, village-to-village matches, rarely come up. That's what made me interested in participating in the film Your Father is a Goalkeeper. The story is funny, warm, and has an emotional closeness to many Indonesian families," said Fedi.
