Kapanlagi.com - The series of natural disasters that struck Indonesia at the end of 2025 became a moment of deep reflection for singer Rossa. The performer of the song Hati yang Kau Sakiti admitted that she was touched to see the high solidarity of the Indonesian people amid difficulties.
Rossa felt a jolt when she saw many people whose economic conditions might be just enough, yet still set aside some of their income to donate. These small acts then moved her conscience to do more.
"Honestly, I see on social media so many things that inspire me. That person A, person B, person C, all donating. Some even just donate 5 thousand rupiah. Even just like 'Sister, I can only pray'. That is so amazing for me, like wow," she said when met in the Sarinah area, Central Jakarta, Monday (15/12/2025).

Seeing the sincerity, Rossa felt ashamed to just sit back and enjoy her comfortable life. She realized that all the facilities and luxuries she currently has also contain the rights of others in need.
"It feels like it impacts my soul that I also have to, I also have to. I can eat well, I can live comfortably. I have to give the same to others," she expressed emotionally.

For Rossa, the disaster that occurred is not only a test for the victims but also a reminder for those who are still safe. She was reminded again that the essence of life in this world is not solely for personal interests.

"But it reminds us that we indeed do not live alone and it's not just about ourselves. We are given the opportunity to live by Allah not just for ourselves but for many people," Rossa wisely said.

She believes that behind every calamity, there is always wisdom that can be gleaned. One of them is the growth of empathy and love among fellow humans that may have been dormant all this time.

"So with this calamity, I believe many people actually become more aware of themselves and love others more, and they are moved," she added.

The year 2025 is acknowledged by Rossa as a rather challenging year with various dynamics. However, the spirit of mutual cooperation among the Indonesian people gives her new hope to welcome the coming year with more optimism.

"It's quite difficult with various, what should I call it, situations here in Indonesia. The economy, political climate, and now we are also being tested with many of our brothers and sisters facing disasters," concluded Rossa.
