Ruben Onsu Asserts That the Perpetrator Who Defamed His Child is a Mother, Not a Minor

"This means that from the IP address in Cyber, we are confident that we will be able to track it and we, along with Ruben Onsu's team, have also provided assistance in terms of information as far as we have obtained," said Minola Sebayang at Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday (31/7/2025).

"But the police, in this case, the Dit Cyber Polda Metro Jaya, must be more sophisticated in doing this, right?" he added.

When asked about the possibility of communication before the report was made, Ruben firmly dismissed it. This famous presenter analogized it to something impossible to do.

"So, if it is said, 'Is this person a minor?' No. Not at all. Is there someone saying they have special needs? No, not someone with special needs, no," Ruben explained.

When the media tried to confirm whether the perpetrator was a mother, Ruben provided a straightforward answer. The man, who is commonly referred to as Bensu, confirmed the information without hesitation.

"It's not a suspicion anymore, it's a mother. It's no longer a suspicion, it's a mother," concluded Ruben.

The reported account is a TikTok account with the username @vina.run. Ruben Onsu is even confident that the owner of the account is an adult woman named Vina Wiryanti who lives in Jakarta.

4. Elements of Defamation and Bullying Actions

Ruben Onsu seems to have obtained the identity of the owner of the reported social media account. The real name of the account owner is Vina Wiryanti, born on December 22, 1986, and her husband is named Kevi Hanafi, born on April 15, 1971.

The account is suspected of spreading false information and contains elements of defamation against Ruben's family. The slander spread claims that Thalia is not Ruben's biological child, but the result of an affair.

5. Opportunities Have Been Opened But There Is No Good Faith

Ruben Onsu himself had previously opened the opportunity to meet, but there was no positive response from the perpetrator. The father of three children stated that the perpetrator actually became more aggressive after being warned.

"From him, there is no good faith, right? In fact, he deliberately captures it again, then posts it again, he keeps posting. For me, that's enough," explained Ruben.
