Ruben Onsu Closes the Door to Peace, Firmly Continues Legal Process for Account that Defamed His Child

The decision of Ruben Onsu to take the defamation case against his family to legal channels seems to be final. The father of Thalia, Thania, and Betrand Peto emphasizes that there is no longer any room for mediation or peaceful resolution for the owner of the account Vina.run.

This firm stance was taken after he felt there was no good faith from the perpetrator who continues to spread negative content. When asked if the door to peace is closed, Ruben gave a very clear and concise answer.

"Oh, if you forgive, yes Allah is Most Forgiving. Yes, we forgive everything. But if it's about moving on, this time I will move on. No matter what, no matter who his background is, whatever it is, I will still move on," said Ruben Onsu.

"There is no peace like that anymore," asserted Ruben Onsu at the Metro Jaya Police, Thursday (31/7/2025). However, this does not mean Ruben closes the door on forgiveness to the perpetrator. But for the legal process, he ensures that he will continue it until it is resolved as a lesson.

This decision is made purely based on his feelings as a father who sees his children being hurt. He does not want to be influenced by the opinions of others who might suggest he reconcile.

"Yes, definitely. But if I am here, I am in the name of the father. So if someone says, 'Just forgive, just let it go,' no, the point is I follow my heart," said Ruben.

This top presenter also emphasized that legal action is important to provide a deterrent effect. According to him, if it is just forgiven, the perpetrator will never learn a lesson and can repeat their actions.

"No way. Just keep going. You see, if we just forgive, there will be no sense of learning a lesson," said Ruben Onsu. For Ruben, anyone who has become a parent can surely understand his feelings. This former wife of Sarwendah does not want to see a bad digital footprint attached to her children for a lifetime.

"But when we become parents, we know what it feels like when your child is humiliated on social media. This digital footprint will be seen for a lifetime," he mentioned. This legal action is also a way for Ruben to show his children that their parents will always be there to defend them. He wants his children to know that they are not alone in facing mistreatment from others.

Ruben did not hesitate at all when he decided to file a report with the Polda Metro Jaya. For him, when it comes to children, especially his two young daughters, he will not stay silent.
