Presenter Ruben Onsu plans to perform Umrah in the near future. Amid various family issues he is facing, Ruben chooses to draw closer to God and prepare for a spiritual journey to the Holy Land.
The father of three children admits that his longing for his children is one of the things that constantly occupies his mind. Therefore, he strives to go through every process calmly while still trying to give the best as a parent.
"I feel as a parent I definitely want to do the best for my children," said Ruben Onsu when met in the Tanah Kusir area, South Jakarta, Friday (19/6/2026).
Ruben revealed that all preparations for his departure have begun. He hopes that the umrah he will undertake can bring peace and also serve as a moment to offer the best prayers for his family.
"Everything has been arranged, I am also preparing for umrah soon. Hopefully, after that, everything will be better," he said.
When asked if there is a specific prayer he will offer while in the Holy Land, Ruben gave a brief answer. However, he hinted that his children are one of the main focuses in the prayers he will bring. "Definitely," said Ruben.
Although he is preparing for his umrah departure, Ruben emphasized that matters regarding his rights to meet his children are still being handled through legal channels. He chose to leave all explanations regarding this issue to his attorney, Minola Sebayang, to ensure that the information conveyed remains focused.
"Let Bang Minola answer that. If it's certain, we have arranged everything with Bang Minola," he said. On that occasion, Ruben also reiterated that his current hope is very simple.
He just wants all parties to carry out the agreements that have been decided by the court so that he can have enough time with his children. "The important thing is just to follow the decision. All I want is to spend time with my child," concluded Ruben Onsu.
