Safeea Ahmad Prefers K-Pop Over Rock, Dul Jaelani Starts Speculating

Unlike her siblings who like rock music, Safeea likes K-Pop. Because of her preference, Al gave Safeea a gift related to BTS and also a drawing book.

"My sister likes K-Pop," said Dul when met at the Billboard Indonesia Music Awards 2020, West Jakarta, on Wednesday night (26/2).

"Well, usually Ahmad Dhani's children like rock music," added Al.

1. Taste Following the Times

Dul speculates that the difference in music taste is influenced by the changing times. According to Dul, the quality music during his childhood was rock bands like Queen and Led Zeppelin, while nowadays, the quality music might be BTS, which is why his younger sibling likes it.

"Maybe it's because of the changing times, because when I was little, I was exposed to music from Queen, Led Zeppelin. Even at the age of 4, I daydreamed with Queen's songs. So, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pat Matthany, during that time, they might be considered as quality music. Maybe nowadays, BTS is considered as quality music, so the younger generation has been influenced by BTS since childhood, but it's a matter of personal taste," Dul explained.

2. Prayers for Safeea

Although having different music taste, Safeea still has an artistic soul like her other siblings. Dul hopes that her younger sister will also venture into the world of art. Not forgetting, Al and Dul pray for good things for their sister who is turning 9 years old.

"Happy 9th birthday, Safeea. May you become a righteous and proud child, intelligent, beautiful in heart and appearance," concluded the two siblings.
