Sandy Reveals the Chronology of Trisno PAS Band Suffering Kidney Failure Before Passing Away

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian music world mourns the passing of Trisno PAS Band. The bassist, whose full name is Bambang Sutrisno, breathed his last at 14:47 WIB after battling his illness.

Sandy, a bandmate, shared the initial news of Trisno's illness when met in the Depok area on Saturday (1/8/2026). "Two weeks ago, the friends from PAS Band received news that Trisno was sick at his boarding house, he was complaining of headaches," said Sandy.

1. Initial Complaints and Deterioration of Condition

According to Sandy, Trisno's health condition has not been as good as before in the last few months. He mentioned that the late Trisno rarely complained about the pain he felt to his friends.

"And as usual, he didn't want to get a health check-up, so he felt everything himself. But we were worried because what was causing the dizziness? Because for the past few months, the deceased really hasn't been fresh anymore," said Sandy.

During that period, the bandmates started to notice changes in Trisno's daily life. They were concerned because the complaints of dizziness appeared repeatedly, while a health examination had not yet been officially conducted.

2. Worrying Physical Signs

Concerns grew when physical changes were observed in Trisno's body. Sandy mentioned that the late Trisno had been continuously taking medication but had not consulted a doctor.

"Taking medicine all the time, taking it, afraid to take more medicine, taking it again, worried that there might already be indications of liver problems. And his legs had started to swell," Sandy said.

Noticing the swelling legs, Sandy repeatedly reminded Trisno to check his kidney condition. He conveyed this warning during their performances, referencing his family's experience.

"A few times while we were performing, I reminded him, 'Bro, try to check your kidneys,' because coincidentally my father also passed away due to kidney issues, his legs were swollen too," he said.

3. Taken to the Hospital and Examination Results

The encouragement from friends finally made Trisno willing to undergo a medical examination. About two weeks ago, he was taken to the hospital for a thorough check-up.

"Yes, after our hard efforts, he finally agreed to be checked. Two weeks ago we took him to the hospital and he was examined, and it was finally discovered that he had kidney failure. Only 5% is left," explained Sandy.

After a series of efforts, sad news came. Trisno from PAS Band passed away at 14:47 WIB. Sandy conveyed this chronology as a friend and fellow musician.
