Kapanlagi.com - Sarah Azhari has returned to Indonesia after more than a decade living in the United States. The actress known for her series of films and soap operas revealed that she just landed a few days before meeting with the media, with an agenda that is not just a vacation.
"I just arrived, just arrived, just a few days ago. Just three days ago," said Sarah Azhari.
This time her return is accompanied by several matters that need to be handled directly in her homeland, ranging from managing her home to meeting with her manager to discuss potential job opportunities. The woman born in Jakarta on June 16, 1977, also emphasized her closeness to Indonesia, which always makes her want to return.
Sarah is reorganizing various personal and professional needs while in Indonesia. She mentioned that meeting with managers is one of the initial agendas to prepare for potential job opportunities that may arise.
"Because I am Indonesian, whether I like it or not, I will definitely return here and I will always miss Indonesia. Because I am Indonesian, right? So... here I am," she said.
She expressed plans to not rush, allowing time to manage her home and meet with various parties. The closeness of family in Indonesia is one of the reasons that made her choose to return after a long time living abroad.
Sarah stated that she will be staying for quite a long time while in the homeland. "God willing, quite a long time," said Sarah.
During this period, she is opening up opportunities to become active again in the entertainment world. A longing for the working atmosphere in front of the camera occasionally arises, although she has not confirmed any specific projects she will undertake. "Sometimes, sometimes I miss it. It depends, it depends... It depends," said Sarah when asked about her longing to act in front of the camera again.
Sarah also mentioned that she still has creative activities that she is pursuing. "Of course, I am the one who creates it, like singing and such. But for now... umm, because I just moved, moved cities, so I paused for a bit and then I moved again here, to Indonesia," she revealed.
When asked about the opportunity for a comeback in acting, Sarah has not given a definite answer. She prefers to observe developments in Indonesia while also considering family plans. "I don’t know yet, I don’t know yet. We’ll see how it goes later. Because my child also wants to return. Maybe at the end of this year, so I’m the first one to come here," said Sarah.
During her stay in the United States, Sarah did not settle in a permanent residence. She rented a place which made it easier for her to return to Indonesia at any time.
"The residence is no longer there. It's gone. I mean, I was there just temporarily. In America, I was temporary, renting there. Now, anytime I want to come back here, I can. It was indeed just temporary. My child is already grown up, graduated from college. So there's no need to be looked after anymore. They can take care of themselves," she explained.
Given this situation, Sarah chose to be more flexible in planning for the future. She came to Indonesia first, while her child plans to follow and try living in the homeland at a time she mentioned could happen at the end of the year.
