The issue of financial losses allegedly experienced by Sarwendah due to the conflict with Ruben Onsu has become a hot topic in public discussions. A fantastic figure of up to IDR 20 billion even circulated after several netizens calculated the potential income from live streaming activities that were said to be postponed.

In response to the news, Sarwendah's attorney, Chris Sam Siwu, firmly denied the circulating information. According to him, the figure is merely an assumption without a clear basis.

"But if asked what the value is, I think it's a hoax. There is no loss of up to IDR 20 billion like that. Our client honestly does not calculate such things. The most important thing is one that she loves the most, which is her children," said Chris Sam Siwu in a virtual press conference on Saturday (20/6/2026).

Chris explained that for Sarwendah, the happiness of her children is far more valuable than material matters. He described how his client always prioritizes her children over work affairs.

"Imagine friends, at the moment we are having an important meeting, Sarwendah would not refuse if her child calls. She would definitely answer, no matter how important the meeting is. That is the most valuable treasure for Sarwendah," he said.

Although he acknowledged that there are some business partners who choose to postpone their cooperation for a while, Chris assured that Sarwendah's professional activities continue to run normally.

"There are still many parties working with Sarwendah. It's just that at the moment, there may be some partners who choose to hold off their cooperation for a while until this issue is resolved," he said.

Chris also asked the public not to be easily influenced by narratives that he considers harmful to his client.

"Sarwendah is not a murderer, not a perpetrator of terrorism. So do not frame her inappropriately. We are studying the parties who are trying to continuously frame this," he concluded.
