Sarwendah Emphasizes That the Police Report Is Not Related to Issues with Ruben Onsu

Sarwendah Tan ensures that the police report she has submitted this time is purely related to allegations of defamation by several social media accounts. Her legal team emphasizes that this matter has no connection to the legal issues between Sarwendah and her ex-husband, Ruben Onsu.

Sarwendah's attorney, Korbinianus Molmen Nomer, explained that the handling of the two cases is being managed by different teams.

"We are not involved in the issues between Mrs. Sarwendah and her ex-husband. We are only involved in reporting those accounts. The issues between Mrs. Sarwendah and her ex-husband are being handled by a special team," said Korbinianus when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday (29/6/2026).

He also revealed that Sarwendah had undergone an examination when the report was first made. During the examination, the investigators asked about 21 questions.

"The taking of statements has been done, when we made the report it was done. There were about 21 questions. Today is the submission of additional evidence," explained Korbinianus.

When asked about the chances of a peaceful resolution, Korbinianus stated that it is still too early to discuss this as the legal process is still at the investigation stage.

"That is still, still far away. It's still a long way to go, this is still the investigation process," he emphasized.

Sarwendah reiterated that all reports have been submitted to the police and now we are just waiting for the legal process to proceed.

"The reports are all in. Thank you," said Sarwendah before leaving the South Jakarta Metro Police.
