Kapanlagi.com - Firm action has been taken by Sarwendah and her legal team regarding the alleged defamation case affecting her family. Sarwendah's side indicates that they will not easily open the door to peace for the owner of the TikTok account '@vina.run.
This step is taken to teach the public not to carelessly spread hoaxes on social media. Christ Sam Siwu emphasized that an apology alone is not enough to erase the psychological impact experienced by his client.
"Victim witnesses, which will later be discussed with the reporter. But even if asked, our client has said that to create a deterrent effect, we will not easily forgive. We must also look at the actual actions," emphasized Christ Sam Siwu at Polda Metro Jaya, Friday (30/1/2026).

Christ is concerned that if this case ends peacefully just like that, the perpetrator will repeat their actions in the future. Therefore, the legal process must continue according to the applicable rules to ensure justice for the victim witnesses.
"Don't say forgiving and then repeating it again, we don't know," said Christ.
Sarwendah also feels tired of constantly dealing with endless fake news. She feels it's time to take concrete action so that the slander stops and is not consumed by the public incorrectly.
"Eventually, it gets tiring if it keeps being talked about. So it seems like there needs to be real action so that the hoax doesn't spread further," said Sarwendah.

After taking legal steps, the legal representatives observed a decrease in the number of negative comments on their client's social media. This is seen as a positive impact from the firmness shown by Sarwendah's side.
"Maybe friends know better. But as far as we know, after we took action, everything has decreased. Thank God," concluded Christ Sam Siwu.

The police have reportedly seized the account as evidence. However, investigators have discovered new facts regarding the device used by the perpetrator.
According to Sarwendah's attorney, Christ Sam Siwu, there is information that the phone used to upload the defamatory content has changed hands. Nevertheless, the police continue to make every effort to trace the true identity behind the account.
