Kapanlagi.com - Rr Ayu Maulida, the daughter from East Java, was chosen as Miss Indonesia 2020. She defeated two other competitors, Putu Ayu Saraswati from Bali who had to settle for being the First Runner-Up and Jihane Almira Chedid from Central Java who became the Second Runner-Up.
After being crowned as Miss Indonesia 2020, Ayu Maulida expressed her gratitude and thanks to those who have supported her all this time.
"First of all, I want to express my gratitude to God Almighty and also thank the Puteri Indonesia Foundation and Mustika Ratu for their trust in me to become Miss Indonesia 2020," said Ayu Maulida during a press conference at JCC Senayan Jakarta, on Friday (6/3).
"I hope all pageant lovers in Indonesia can unite to support the three winners this year, there should be no conflicts because we are all one, Miss Indonesia. We must all support those who are entrusted to represent Indonesia in their respective international competitions. I hope to give my best for Indonesia and I will continue to learn and become better than before," she added.

When meeting the press after her victory, Ayu Maulida was asked by the media whether she had dreamed before being crowned as Miss Indonesia 2020.
"What did you dream last night? Actually, we didn't sleep last night. Haha. I probably slept at 4 am and woke up at half past 6. So I didn't sleep. I don't know what I dreamed either," she said with a smile.

However, Ayu Maulida is certain that her victory is thanks to her mother's prayers and her hard work all this time.
"But I believe it is the power of my mother's prayers because it has been my dream since I was a child. So I feel that today is not just a victory but indeed the result of hard work," she concluded.
