The moment of truth for Nikita Mirzani has finally arrived. In the verdict session held at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (28/10/2025), the panel of judges officially sentenced her to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp1 billion for the case that ensnared her.

Although this sentence is much lighter than the prosecutor's demands, Nikita Mirzani still expressed her dissatisfaction. After the session, she firmly stated that she does not accept the verdict and is ready to pursue further legal avenues. Here are the details.

"Yeah, I don't accept it but what can I do? There is still an appeal," she said after the trial at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (28/10/2025).

According to Nikita, the guilty verdict handed down to her is unfounded. She feels she never committed defamation or disclosed secrets as alleged, because she believes the skincare product she commented on indeed has issues.

"Of course! No one forced anyone, no one opened any secrets. What secret was opened? The skincare is indeed dangerous, it indeed doesn't have BPOM certification," she asserted.

As is known, Nikita Mirzani is embroiled in a case of alleged threats of defamation or threats of revealing secrets and money laundering based on a report from beauty doctor, Reza Gladys.

Nikita's legal counsel, Usman Lawara, also highlighted the alleged errors in the judge's considerations. According to him, the judge did not take into account the fact that the sending of images deemed as threats was not at Nikita's command.

"The fact that it was not an order or request from Nikita, and this has been explicitly acknowledged by Mail," explained Usman.

Although feeling disappointed, Nikita stated that she would continue to respect the judge's decision. However, she assured that her fight is not over. "After this, there will be efforts, I don’t know, it’s up to whether to appeal or what, I’ll just go along with it," concluded Nikita.
