Kapanlagi.com - Amidst the increasingly alarming corona virus outbreak, many public figures in the country are engaging in social activities. Unlike others who provide medical equipment assistance, actor Hengky Kurniawan plans to use his house as a residence for medical personnel.

This consideration was made by the Deputy Regent of West Bandung because there are many positive cases of corona in Jakarta. His unoccupied house is located in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta, near the hospital.

"I am monitoring Jakarta and I am quite concerned, it can be said that there are the most COVID-19 cases and the need for medical personnel. Coincidentally, my house is close to hospitals like Pondok Indah, Pasar Minggu, Fatmawati, so if it is needed, please use it," said Hengky when contacted by phone on Wednesday (1/4/2020).

1. Living in Bandung

Hengky Kurniawan and his small family currently live in Bandung. Therefore, he is determined to lend his house temporarily as a place for medical personnel and volunteers.

"I now live in Bandung, so I rarely go home and coincidentally the house has been empty since I started my duty. I haven't lived in that house for two years. Even if I go to Jakarta, I stay in a hotel, never in my own house," said the husband of artist Sonya Fatmala.

2. Specifically for Medical Personnel

Although lending his house to be occupied, Hengky Kurniawan specifically reserves it for medical personnel and volunteers. He is worried that if it is used as an isolation space, it will cause objections from the local residents.

"I'm worried that the residents will object if it is used for isolation. My thinking is, if medical personnel live far away and work in South Jakarta, it's better than going back and forth. Meanwhile, the prepared hotels are located in Jakarta," he concluded.
