Tengku Dewi Putri Shocked That Her Husband Was Arrested by Police for Drugs, Ready to Provide Legal Assistance to Andrew Andika

Kapanlagi.com - The wife of Andrew Andika, Tengku Dewi Putri, admitted she was shocked that her husband was arrested by the police on charges of drug abuse. Her lawyer, Minola Sebayang, stated that Tengku Dewi did not expect her husband to be involved in drug cases. According to her, Andrew has always been known not to be involved in such matters.

"Of course she is shocked because Andrew, as known by Tengku, has never been involved in such things based on the information. So Tengku Dewi is shocked and in disbelief," said Minola Sebayang in a video received by reporters on Sunday (29/9/2024).

Nevertheless, they respect the ongoing legal process and hope to get clearer information after the examination process is completed.

"So it is true that there are five people arrested along with Andrew. We still do not know who they are for sure. Because we are still limited in information. So we respect the police who have carried out the legal process because there will be a time when we will arrange it ourselves," he added.

1. Wife Accompanies Directly

Minola said that Tengku Dewi herself plans to accompany her husband during the legal process. If Andrew agrees, the legal team will assist in this case.

"Later there will be an agreement by Tengku Dewi if Andrew agrees with what his wife appointed, we have truly become Andrew's legal counsel, we will definitely ask in detail. Right now, it’s still not the case," he said.

2. Intensive Examination

Andrew Andika was arrested by the Narcotics Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police on suspicion of drug abuse. The arrest took place on Thursday night, September 26, 2024. The evidence found by the police was in the form of methamphetamine.

Currently, Andrew is still undergoing intensive examination by the police to delve deeper into this case. In addition to Andrew, there are four other people who were also arrested at the same time, but their identities have not yet been officially released by the authorities.

"Andrew's condition based on information yesterday from the investigator of the West Jakarta Metro Police is said to be fine, he is undergoing a process because of the drug case there is an examination process or whatever, so we will wait for the process first," said Minola.

"Later, if there is a definite decision and Tengku Dewi wants to accompany Andrew and if Andrew agrees, our team will help him, then we will clarify what happened to Andrew," concluded Minola.
