Showcase 'Ambivert' Raisa Presents Emotional Nuances, Insert Sweet Memories for Gusti

Raisa reminisced about the important figure behind the work after finishing her performance of 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay'. "The song just now titled 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay', was written and produced by me, Rishanda, and the late Gusti. Let's give a round of applause for Gusti!" she exclaimed, greeted by enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Raisa also shared a funny memory about Gusti, who was known as a humorous figure despite being very talented. "Maybe up there he is singing while joking around, right?" said Raisa, which immediately elicited laughter from the YourRaisa fans. That moment became one of the most touching parts of the entire show.

Not only touching the emotional side, the Ambivert showcase also offered a new theatrical experience that was quite challenging for Raisa. "Tonight I am really nervous, I wonder why? If you are nervous, why? Are you afraid that I will read your story on stage?" she joked, before continuing with a performance that felt very personal.

Raisa revealed that Ambivert is a very important album in her career and life. "I’m nervous because this album is really important to me, and I feel like I poured out all my heart and thoughts into this album. Together with Kang Lafa Pratomo on it," she said. 

A special collaboration was also present in the showcase. Raisa performed Awal Kisah Selamanya with Barsena Bestandhi, and Tetap Bukan Kamu with Rony Parulian. Their performance was enhanced by theatrical acts from Jakarta Movin that strengthened the emotional narrative of the songs in Ambivert.

During the two sets of performances, Raisa performed a total of 20 songs, including a series of hits from the album 'Ambivert' such as 'Berpindah Hati', 'Pengganti Aku', 'Ternyata Tanpamu (Cantik)', 'I'll Be Waiting', and 'Terserah'. The audience appeared enthusiastic, singing along, and immersed in every nuance of the songs performed by Raisa with full emotion.

In a press conference, Raisa emphasized that 'Ambivert' is a special gift for her fans. "In terms of the production, the arrangement choices, the sound, it really has YourRaisa in my mind. I hope that after this is finished, Ambivert can stick to the daily lives of YourRaisa," she said.
