Sneak Peek of Aurra Kharishma's Preparation Before Representing Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2020

Kapanlagi.com - After successfully winning the title of Miss Grand Indonesia 2020, Aurra Kharishma's duty does not stop there. Next, this girl from Majalengka will depart to Bangkok, Thailand to represent Indonesia and compete in Miss Grand International 2020.

In this international event, Aurra will face 64 other contestants from various parts of the world. Meanwhile, the final night of this beauty pageant will be held on March 27, 2021, at DC Hall, Bangkok, Thailand.

Ivan Gunawan, as the Director of Dunia Mega Bintang Foundation and National Director of Miss Grand Indonesia 2020, expressed his full support for Aurra. According to him, there are many things that need to be prepared before Aurra departs to Bangkok.

"As the organizer of Miss Grand Indonesia 2020, we are fully responsible for Aurra's preparation in facing the Final of Miss Grand International 2020 in Bangkok. Moreover, when Aurra arrives there, she has to quarantine in a hotel room until March 15, 2020, in accordance with Thailand's national protocol. And the competition will start from March 15 to March 27, 2020. So Aurra must be physically and mentally ready," said Ivan Gunawan in a press conference, Friday (26/2) 2021.

By Ivan Gunawan and Dunia Mega Bintang Foundation, Aurra has been given several trainings to strengthen herself as a finalist of Miss Grand International 2020.

"Aurra has been given training in public speaking, English language proficiency, catwalk training, self-esteem training, makeup and hair do training, and regular exercise conducted at the gym area in Roseville Soho & Suite, BSD, Tangerang. We have done everything to the maximum to ensure that Aurra is physically and mentally prepared," added Igun.

2. Prepared National Costume

In a beauty pageant, costumes also play an important role in capturing the hearts of the judges. Igun has also prepared 3 costumes that were directly showcased by Aurra during the press conference.

"Aurra will wear an Evening Dress in the final night designed by Wiki Wu with the theme of Aurora Dress. Aurra will also bring various costumes for quarantine purposes from other Indonesian designers. And what's special, Aurra will wear a national costume designed by Jember Fashion Carnival with the theme of The Edacious of Chicken Satay," explained Igun.

"This costume represents Indonesia very well. Because this costume can tell the story of how popular chicken satay is. And Madura Chicken Satay is easily accepted anywhere because of its delicious taste," he added.

Considering the voting system, Aurra hopes for support from the Indonesian public so that she can win the Miss Grand International pageant.

"I humbly ask for full support from the entire Indonesian community so that I can win Miss Grand International 2020 and bring honor to Indonesia on a global level," concluded Aurra.
