Starring in the soap opera 'DEWI RINDU', Angela Gilsha says the story is experienced by many women out there

"I read the script and it's really relatable to people who get pregnant outside of marriage," said the actress from Bali.

1. Not Extreme

Furthermore, Angela mentioned how people around her have also experienced sexual violence.

"The closest people, there are some, but it's not extreme to the point of being kicked out of the house. I don't know anyone who has experienced something as extreme as Dewi, never talked to the victim either," she said.

2. Currently Prevalent

As a woman, Angela is aware of how the issue of sexual violence is currently being widely discussed. There needs to be more awareness about this issue for the audience.

"Yes, now sexual violence is prevalent everywhere, there must be many victims, many real-life Dewis intentionally or unintentionally," added Angela.

3. Confused How to React

Angela understands that many victims are confused about how to react and end up falling into despair.

"Well, the story of Dewi Rindu is surely experienced by many women out there, many don't know what to do, many commit suicide, have abortions because they are truly desperate," said the 27-year-old actress.
