According to Elvira, she started playing DJ when the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia in 2020. The feeling of boredom from always being at home is what made her decide to learn to become a DJ.

"I started DJing during Covid, feeling bored and eventually learned until I bought the equipment," said Elvira Devinamira in Jakarta, Thursday (31/8/2023).

Now, Elvira is already skilled at DJing. She has even performed at several events, both domestic and international.

"Now I enjoy DJing, it's a paid hobby and I'm grateful for the positive response from the community and also the Puteri Indonesia Foundation," she said.

2. Elvira Will Perform in Times Square, New York

From his hobby of being a DJ, he did not expect to be chosen to perform in the Indopop Movement volume 3 event which will be held in Times Square, New York, United States on September 13, 2023.

In that event, he will perform as a DJ accompanying Farhana Nariswari, Puteri Indonesia 2023, who will sing Sundanese and Balinese songs. 

"I never thought that from being bored because of Covid, now I can go to Time Square," he said.

In addition to Elvira and Farhana, the Indopop Movement stage will also be enlivened by performances from Fitri Carlina, Rian D'Masiv, and Erika Prihadi. There will also be a fashion show at Times Square featuring designers, brands, and SMEs from Indonesia.
