Starting from Rizky Billar's Vocal Teacher, Delon Officially Opens Delon Vocal School

Kapanlagi.com - Delon Thamrin is trying something new as a singer. Recently, the Indonesian Idol first season graduate officially opened a vocal school called Delon Vocal Studio (DVS).

The decision to open DVS was not made by Delon without reason. Besides wanting to find business prospects during the pandemic, the owner of the full name Stanislaus Alexander Liauw Delon Thamrin also hopes to pass on good vocal skills to his students.

"At first, I was hesitant. But teaching for the first time was enjoyable and fun. I had one thought. I want to find regeneration. I want to help students who need lessons and knowledge to become a singer. Who knows, my students could be like me," said Delon, during the opening of his vocal school in the Pluit area, North Jakarta, on Saturday (18/6/2021).

Delon's vocal ability, who holds the title of runner-up of the first season of Indonesian Idol, is certainly unquestionable. Many works have been produced by the man born on May 20, 1978, including collaboration with Christian Bautista in the song We Are Here released last year.

Therefore, in order to provide the best vocal knowledge to DVS students, Delon directly teaches. Of course, Delon is not alone, he is also assisted by other vocal teachers who have excellent abilities.

"Delon teaches directly. But at other times, he is also assisted by teachers who have been carefully selected," said Delon's wife, Aida Chandra.

2. Become Rizky Billar's Teacher

Before establishing a vocal school, Delon opened virtual vocal courses that trained talented children not only in the country but also abroad. Delon also trained Rizky Billar's vocals when he started venturing into the world of singing.

Seeing the enthusiasm of children to learn vocals, Delon was then supported by his wife, Aida Chandra, to open a vocal course with a definite location.

"Previously, I have also taught. I was also Rizky Billar's vocal teacher. Then there was an online course, and there were quite a lot of students. There were even some from abroad," said the singer of Setengah Jiwaku Kamu.

3. Stay Creative as a Singer

Delon acknowledges that his increasingly busy schedule does not affect his ability to continue existing in the music industry as a singer. He will continue to release works and entertain the public with his distinctive voice.

"It's a parallel path, still singing praises to God, on air, off air. Everything is done over time. What matters is that it's halal (permissible)," he said.
