Stephanie Poetri Trapped in Los Angeles During Major Fire, Titi DJ: We Keep Communicating

Kapanlagi.com - The disaster of a major fire in Los Angeles, United States, has recently become the focus of the world. The forest fires have spread to various areas, consuming more than 17 thousand hectares of land.

This fire not only threatens the environment but also the homes of several famous celebrities, such as Paris Hilton, Ben Affleck, and James Woods. Even some Indonesian artists living in Los Angeles have been affected, one of them being Stephanie Poetri, the daughter of Indonesian diva, Titi DJ.

As a mother, Titi DJ admitted she is very worried about her daughter's safety. She immediately contacted Stephanie as soon as she heard about the major fire.

"Of course (worried), how could a mother not feel worried seeing news about such a huge fire. It seems like it has never happened before in the city where her child is. That’s really worrying," said Titi DJ when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, recently.

Titi admitted feeling relieved when Stephanie immediately answered her call and gave the news that she was safe. Stephanie's apartment is known to be quite far from the fire area.

"We keep communicating, thank God Stephanie's apartment is really far from the fire area," said the 58-year-old woman.

Although far from the fire location, Stephanie was still able to witness the devastation of the event from her apartment. She even recounted how terrifying the situation was to her mother.

"She (Stephanie) said it was really scary, because when she went up to the rooftop she could see the smoke and the flames. So it was really terrifying," Titi revealed.

2. Can't Go Anywhere

Currently, Stephanie Poetri can only stay in her apartment because Los Angeles is under lockdown as a precautionary measure. This policy prevents residents from leaving their homes for safety reasons.

"So we can't go anywhere for now. But thank goodness, it seems like the fire is really huge," added Titi DJ.

This major fire has been a tense experience for Stephanie Poetri. However, intense communication with her mother has made Titi DJ a bit calmer. She continues to pray that this disaster will end soon and that her child remains healthy and safe amidst this difficult situation.
