Dewi Perssik Reveals Special Moments with Indosiar on Its 30th Anniversary, Treating Artists Professionally Despite Many Unique Challenges

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Dewi Perssik shared stories about her memories with Indosiar, which has now entered its 30th year. As one of the singers who often performs at various major events on that television station, Dewi expressed her admiration for Indosiar's professionalism in treating its artists.

“I said, Indosiar is different from other TVs. When they provide treatment, they are really professional, they don’t hold back in giving guidance, yes, giving treatment, yes,” said Dewi Perssik when met at Emtek City Studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Friday (10/1/2025).

Dewi recounted her unique experiences while performing at Indosiar events, where she was often given unusual challenges.

1. Often Facing Challenges to Perform on Stage

One of them was when she performed Ariel Silk, which required her to spin around with her head upside down.

“Like yesterday, I was Ariel Silk, so I was spun around, head down. If not, it would be wrong for me to go up using Ice skating,” she continued.

Even when given difficult challenges, Dewi always feels that Indosiar trusts her completely. In fact, the training provided is often done in a short time, because Indosiar believes Dewi already has the basic skills to master those techniques.

2. Feeling Appreciated Because of Good Treatment

“So all of this, I only had 2 weeks. If this is just one day because they think I already have basic. So there's no need for too much training,” she revealed.

For Dewi, working with Indosiar feels like family. She feels appreciated by the treatment given, even though the demands of performing in the show require extra effort.

“Call a pricey teacher, just one day is enough for you. So this kind of training, it’s like we’re already family,” said Dewi.

3. Challenges as Distinguishing Factors on Stage

Dewi admitted that the challenges presented to her actually added value to her as a performer. According to her, merely singing is no longer enough to attract the audience's attention in this era.

“If it’s just about singing normally, there are already many other singers. But we must be able to present something different that makes them interested in watching us again,” she said.

She also feels proud because through the challenges she received, the audience became curious about her performances. This becomes a motivation for Dewi to continue giving her best at every opportunity to perform on the Indosiar stage.

4. Learning a Lot from Various Challenges

“As long as it is for my good, the fact is that from what I learn, people become curious about my performances,” she added.

As one of the singers often trusted to perform at major Indosiar events, Dewi hopes that the television station continues to provide space for local artists to showcase their creativity. For Dewi, Indosiar is not just a television station, but also a place for innovation and opportunities for artists to grow.
