In June 2021, Indra Tarigan was officially declared a suspect. The trial itself has been conducted three times at the South Jakarta District Court.

Knowing that the trial for defamation through electronic media has finally been held, Nikita feels relieved. Because she indeed wants to imprison her opponent.

"Yes, he must go to jail to give a lesson, so that adults should not involve children or others in their affairs," said Nikita before the trial began.

In this trial, there were four witnesses brought in. What caught attention was the presence of Nikita's eldest daughter named Laura Meizani Nusseru Arsy, or affectionately called Lolly.

"Lolly is ready (to attend the trial) because this is what she has been waiting for. She wants to see the face of the person whose photo was displayed," said the sensational artist.

In addition to Nikita and Lolly, Fitri Salhuteru was also seen accompanying them. Her participation is related to the involvement of Nikita's child in the trial.

Last year in 2019, Nikita Mirzani reported a man named Indra Tarigan to the Jakarta Metro Police. This was because the lawyer who often handles cases of artists mentioned her daughter's name when indirectly addressing her on Instagram stories.

Some of the remarks written by Indra were considered inappropriate by Nikita. One of them said, 'Hopefully, this child won't become a prostitute like her mother in the future.'

4. Becoming a Suspect

Almost two years have passed, the police have named Indra Tarigan as a suspect. The case is ready to proceed to trial soon.

"IT is being named a suspect based on Niki's report at the Metro Police. It means that the trial will begin shortly. Niki has known for a while that this would happen, because Niki acted in the interest of her child. Nikita fought for her child's interests," said Fahmi Bachmid, Nikita's lawyer, through a Zoom meeting on Tuesday (29/6/2021).

5. Insistence to Imprison

Nikita Mirzani said she would not insist on imprisoning Indra Tarigan if she was the only one attacked. However, it becomes a different matter when her daughter's name is involved.

"IT posted writings that discredit Nikita Mirzani's child. When it comes to her child, Niki will go to great lengths. During the mediation, Niki said, 'I personally have no problem with you, but because you have touched my child, I will not forgive unless it is processed legally','" Fahmi continued, imitating Nikita's words.
