Kapanlagi.com - After successfully starring in several soap operas, Callista Arum is making her feature film debut. She is involved in a horror film directed by Farid Dermawan titled DEVIL'S AGREEMENT, which is set to be released in theaters on September 5, 2024.
In this MPS Pictures production, Callista is cast as the main female lead named Kartini. The story tells that Kartini is a new resident in a boarding house specifically for women that has strange requirements.

Of course, there were many considerations before Callista Arum accepted the role in the film DEVIL'S AGREEMENT. It turns out one of the reasons she accepted was because the story offered is relatable to the audience.
"All this time we always hear horror stories that happen in boarding houses, and those stories are always really scary. So, when I found out that DEVIL'S AGREEMENT was about a ghost in a boarding house, I was immediately interested because it is indeed relatable," said Callista, quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com, on Thursday (8/8/2024).
Farid Dermawan, the director, stated that THE DEVIL'S CONTRACT is not only terrifying due to the terror from supernatural beings. It also explores the psychological horrors from the human perspective.
"This is a very gripping horror film because it delves into psychological terror from both human and ghost perspectives. The film will provide a deep and puzzling experience. The story feels plausible, especially with a surprising twist at the end," said Farid.
