Surviving the Pandemic, Mita The Virgin Sells House and Guitar

Kapanlagi.com - The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on Mita The Virgin's economy. In order to survive, Mita had to sell her valuable assets, from her house to her beloved guitar.

"So during the pandemic, musicians have no jobs, imagine that for a year, so there are some things that were sold," said Mita, who was met in the Pondok Kacang area, Tangerang, on Thursday (4/2/2021).

"Three guitars were sold, and the boarding house was also sold, it's quite good (the result) for spending money," Mita added.

1. Not Depressed

Even though she had to sell assets due to economic pressures, Mita admitted that she did not reach a state of depression. Because she has experienced much harder times.

"But I am still grateful, because my financial situation has been worse than this pandemic, so it's not that bad for me. Alhamdulillah, not (depressed)," she said.

Now in 2021, Mita hopes that the condition of the music industry will improve again and music performances will be active. So that she can rebuild her life.

"Now in 2021, I am rebuilding my life. Because 2020 has taken away a lot of what I had. Because in a month where I usually have income, now it's zero. I've spent my savings. So in 2021, I am rebuilding what was lost," she concluded.
