Suti Karno 'Atun' Remains Enthusiastic Despite Living with One Leg for the Last Three Years

For three years, senior actress Suti Karno has lived as a person with a disability after her leg was amputated. Although she claims to be in good physical condition, the actress who plays Atun in the legendary soap opera SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN still has to struggle against pain that often comes suddenly.

The pain she experiences is known as phantom limb pain, a sensation of pain that arises from a part of the body that is no longer there. Suti admitted that she once questioned this to her doctor and received the answer that everyone has different experiences.
