Teddy Syach and Children Send Prayers for the Late Rina Gunawan After Eid Prayer

Kapanlagi.com - Teddy Syah celebrated Eid al-Fitr for the first time without his wife, Rina Gunawan, who passed away last March. Therefore, Teddy admitted that this year's Eid atmosphere feels different without the presence of his beloved wife.

When met at his residence in Bintaro, South Tangerang, on Thursday afternoon (13/5), Teddy felt like something was missing in his life. Because, it is certainly not easy for Teddy and his family to forget all of Rina Gunawan's routines during Eid al-Fitr as usual.

"Indeed, what makes this year different is the absence of the late wife. To be more precise, it feels like something is missing," said Teddy Syah.

"Well, the feeling is still not accustomed after more than 20 years. Because all this time, during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, it was always the late wife who prepared everything," he continued.

Because he didn't want to linger in sadness, on this day of victory, Teddy and his children sent prayers for the late Rina Gunawan. Sending our best prayers for the late Rina, which she did after finishing the Eid prayer.

"So, like we prayed together at home, praying for the deceased. So, we invited the children to worship together with their mother," she concluded.

It is known that Rina Gunawan passed away after being treated in the ICU room at RSPP due to being positive for Covid-19 and having asthma and lung disease. Rina was buried in Tanah Kusir Cemetery with strict Covid-19 protocols.
