According to Fairuz, Tengku Dewi remains firm in her initial decision to divorce Andrew Andika.
"Oh really? As far as I know, no. She is still with her decision that she wants a divorce," said Fairuz when met in the Tendean area of South Jakarta on Tuesday (20/8).
Fairuz explained that she has not had the chance to speak directly with Dewi about this news. However, Dewi plans to visit Fairuz's house today.
"I haven't talked to her again, but she plans to come to my house today," she said.
Fairuz A Rafiq also emphasized that if it is true that Tengku Dewi Putri has withdrawn her divorce lawsuit, Dewi would definitely inform him first. Moreover, Dewi's divorce process is indeed not easy.
"But as far as I know, if that happens, she will definitely talk to me. She is still continuing with the process, because it is not easy, there are slightly different regulations and she has to go through those regulations," he explained.
Meanwhile, Tengku Dewi Putri's legal counsel, Minola Sebayang, also denied the news regarding the withdrawal of the divorce lawsuit. According to Minola, their side has never withdrawn the lawsuit filed by Dewi on July 4, 2024. Minola stressed that both Dewi personally and the legal team have never withdrawn the lawsuit, either verbally or in writing.
"So Tengku Dewi has never withdrawn the lawsuit. Neither verbally nor in writing. We as her legal counsel have also never formally withdrawn the lawsuit that we registered through ecourt," he said.
