The Beginning of Ruben Onsu's Closeness with Sarwendah, Exchanging Phone Numbers - Dating for Three Months and Getting Married

Ruben then shared the story of his initial attraction to Sarwendah. At that time, Ruben and Wenda were attending the same event, where Wenda was still performing with Cherrybelle and Ruben was the host of the event.

"She was the singer and I was the host. And at that time, her mother (Sarwendah) was snacking. So I teased her as usual. And then we exchanged phone numbers," said Ruben Onsu as quoted from Atiek Nur Wahyuni's YouTube video, Saturday (7/3). 

1. Not Directly Dating

Although he already got her phone number, it turns out that Ruben Onsu didn't immediately date Sarwendah. However, he eventually became more caring after the news of Wenda's departure from Cherrybelle came out.

"So at that time, we exchanged phone numbers. But exchanging phone numbers didn't immediately lead to phone calls. Only after knowing the news that she left (Cherrybelle), then I started to care," said this father of 3 children.

"I strengthen her to always be grateful for the past. Because the past can be used to uplift the future," he continued.

2. Getting Married After 3 Months of Meeting

Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah themselves didn't date for long. According to Ruben's confession, they only had a relationship for three months, and then got married.

"Basically, my choice was, when I got close to her, after 3 months of meeting, I immediately asked her to marry me. So I was happy. And she didn't object much, she just followed," he concluded.
