2. Once Was a Radio Broadcaster

As Omas delved into the world of acting and comedy, it turns out that his name also once aired on the radio station. Yes, as reported by republika.co.id, Omas admitted that he was once reprimanded by the late Mpok Nori during a broadcast.

According to republika.co.id, in the 1980s, Omas aired on a radio station and accidentally said something inappropriate. The late (Mpok Nori) scolded Omas because of his behavior. "What did you say earlier?" Omas imitated Mpok Nori's reprimand at that time.

3. Venturing into the Theater World

In addition to learning and being involved in the lenong world, Omas also ventured into theater. He revealed this himself when met in Jakarta on Friday (20/12/2019).

At that time, Omas admitted that he couldn't leave Lenong even though his name was already well-known in the entertainment industry.

"Because that's where our roots are, so we can't leave it. We were raised from there, Mpok didn't immediately enter TV, so we started with Lenong, then played in the theater, and then diligently entered TV and played in soap operas," said Omas to insertlive.com.

4. Expand Wings to Soap Opera

His scruffy and funny figure always manages to stir up the atmosphere. It's no wonder that the soap opera world is also interested in him. It is known that Omas stars in various stripping soap opera titles, starting from Jodoh Apa Bodoh to Anak-Anak Manusia. 

5. Establish Art Studio

At the end of 2019, Omas admitted that he came from a family that preserved Betawi art. Even his father is one of the pioneers.

"My father is already very artistic, because he continued from his father, because he thought who else would continue Betawi art if not us, that's why the whole family was taught," said Omas to insertlive.com when met in Jakarta, Friday (20/12/2019) last year.
