Vanesha Prescilla was born on October 25, 1999, in Jakarta and began her career as a model by becoming a finalist in Gadis Sampul in 2014. She admitted that she once only wanted to be a model and never thought of becoming an actress.
Her debut on the big screen occurred in 2018 when she starred in the film DILAN 1990 as Milea, a role that immediately skyrocketed her name. The success of DILAN 1990 continued with two sequels, namely DILAN 1991 in 2019 and MILEA: VOICE FROM DILAN in 2020. Her role as Milea in this trilogy received much praise and solidified her position in the Indonesian film industry.
In 2018, Vanesha also starred in the film FRIEND BUT MARRIED alongside Adipati Dolken, which is based on the true love story of Ditto Percussion and Ayudia Bing Slamet.
This film was also successful and received a sequel titled FRIENDS BUT MARRIED 2 in 2020. In this film, she showcased her ability to portray various complex emotions, enriching her acting portfolio.
In addition to the film industry, Vanesha also ventured into the music world. She starred in the film BACKSTAGE in 2021, where she acted alongside her own sister, Sissy Priscillia.
In this film, Vanesha not only acted but also sang, showcasing her multi-talented abilities. The songs performed in this film became part of the soundtrack that was well-received by the public.
Awards began to pour in. In 2018, Vanesha won the Favorite New Actress award at the Indonesian Movie Actors Awards. This award is a recognition of her talent and dedication in the world of acting.
