The Case of Nikita Mirzani vs Vadel Badjideh Continues, Razman Highlights the 5 Million Challenge & Investigators Examine Key Witness Virtually

Kapanlagi.com - The South Jakarta Police continue to investigate the report filed by Nikita Mirzani against Vadel Badjideh. On Monday (23/12/2024), investigators summoned key witness, Eda JR Fernandes, to provide testimony. This examination was conducted virtually because Eda resides in England.

During the examination process, Vadel Badjideh was present with family and accompanied by his attorney, Razman Arif Nasution. Razman stated that Eda's testimony will be one of the important points in this case.

“So, witness Eda will explain many things, and we will detail the points after the examination,” said Razman at the South Jakarta Police.

1. Razman Highlights Nikita Mirzani's 5 Billion Challenge

However, Razman also highlighted Nikita Mirzani's challenge regarding the 5 billion rupiah. Previously, Nikita stated that she was willing to pay that amount if by the end of the year Vadel was not imprisoned. This statement has drawn particular attention from Vadel's side.

“NM is challenging 5M, placing bets and so on, how is this going to be accountable?” asked Razman.

Razman added that Nikita is trying to divert the story by claiming she was just joking. However, Razman feels that this action complicates the investigation process.

2. Criticism of Nikita's Attitude in Preceding Legal Process

“But she twists the story again, she says I asked for money, which she offered. Then it seems like we are buying time,” he added.

He also criticized Nikita's attitude, which is considered to precede the legal process. Razman emphasized that there are procedural stages that must be followed, including witness examinations and case presentations.

“After this, check Martin first, check Mr. Umar first, check Liliana first, then present the case. If there is no basis, don’t force it. We hope this case is on the track,” he asserted.

3. The Police Are Still Examining Witnesses

This case began when Nikita Mirzani reported Vadel Badjideh to the South Jakarta Police on September 12. The report is registered under the number LP/B/2811/IX/2024/SPKT/POLRES METRO JAKSEL/POLDA METRO JAYA.

In the report, Nikita accused Vadel of committing sexual intercourse with a minor and abortion. Nikita's daughter, Laura Meizani alias Lolly, is referred to as the victim in this case.

The case has now entered the investigation stage. Laura herself has undergone two examinations as part of the evidence collection by the police.

However, until now, Vadel has not been named a suspect. The police are still continuing to gather statements from witnesses and relevant evidence to ensure that this case proceeds according to the applicable legal procedures.
