The Covid-19 Pandemic Makes Irma Darmawangsa Value Money More

Kapanlagi.com - Irma Darmawangsa admits that she has never experienced difficult conditions like now. Finding money is now difficult compared to before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

"In the past, sorry, it was easy to make money. Just singing for a while and I would get tens of millions. During corona, jobs (singing) are scarce because shows are prohibited," said Irma Darmawangsa, on Thursday (1/10/2020).

Not wanting to be continuously pressed, Irma tries to find the wisdom in the current situation. To earn income, for the past two months, she has started a small business by selling clothes and packaged food such as meatballs and seblak.

"This situation has its own wisdom, it makes me creative. I have been running a small business for two months. Previously, I only relied on savings, but after a while, I realized that my savings were depleting but there was no income," she said.

The singer of Bang Jarwo also admitted that he could find valuable lessons from the difficult times currently happening. Now, he can appreciate money more.

"How much profit can you make from selling meatballs? Now I truly appreciate money. It teaches me to save. The amount of money I get now means a lot to me," he said.

Irma also realizes that her profession as a singer cannot be relied on for her old age. Therefore, she hopes that her small business can grow.

"For now, I will focus on culinary and clothing. If it goes well, it can provide for me when I'm old. I can also recruit others who need jobs. Hopefully, it will come true because it's a good intention," she said.
