Paired with Habib Ja'far, Abdel Achrian admitted that there was no difficulty. If previously he often presented preaching events in a more formal format, this time it is lighter because the guest stars are also millennials.

"In Amanah Islam, it is made lighter, the questions are also like having a conversation. The guest stars also have a pleasant demeanor, related to the current situation," said Abdel Achrian during a virtual press conference on Tuesday (7/9).

"Young people who have problems with Islamic law want to know but are afraid to ask. Because they already know that the answers will attack them. Well, in this program, the answers given by Habib are soothing. It's not like watching a religious show but the content is very meaningful," he continued.

1. Already Collaborating

This is not the first time Habib Ja'far and Abdel Achrian have collaborated. They have previously created content on YouTube, so it was not difficult to build chemistry when hosting the show 'Amanah Islam'. Moreover, Abdel Achrian is also experienced in hosting religious programs.

“Actually, Cing Abdel and I have a program on YouTube. Initially, Cing Abdel and Habib were very serious discussing the interpretation of each verse from the Quran. So, we went through the heavy theme for three months, but it turned out to be light,” said Habib Ja'far.

“Because Cing Abdel has a pleasant demeanor, his jokes are not too formal, and his questions are also millennial-oriented, of course, because Cing Abdel has been in the industry for more than a decade with Mamah Dedeh. It feels like talking to a friend. It really helps to lighten the atmosphere and bring comedy,” he continued.

Habib Ja'far also stated that one of the most important things when answering questions from the millennial generation is not to lecture in order to provide good entertainment.

“Because I believe the best way to present educational content is for the person to not feel lectured. We want the guests and the audience to feel like they're having a conversation with a friend. I answered not to judge but to try to embrace and provide solutions," said Habib Ja'far.

2. Young Generation Theme

'Amanah Islam' airs on NET TV every Saturday and Sunday at 17.00 WIB. The themes discussed are very interesting because they are very close to young people and are currently viral.

“My task and the guest star's task is to explore and answer phenomena related to themes that may have long existed in society but their new problems have not been explored in millennials,” explained Habib Ja'far.

“What's interesting is the new themes that are very related to the millennial generation. Yesterday, we discussed social media and its view on ghosting in Islam, minimalist lifestyle, or mental health themes that transform insecurity into gratitude. It's perfect to air on NET. This is a TV channel for young people, the millennial generation, it's a match,” he concluded.
