The Importance of Tengen in JUJUTSU KAISEN, Here's an Explanation of His PowersThe Character Tengen in JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3

Kapanlagi.com - The presence of Tengen in the early episodes of JUJUTSU KAISEN Season 3 brings a sense of curiosity. Why is this character approached by the protagonists for advice?

This character is known as an immortal Jujutsu sorcerer, having lived for over 500 years. His appearance no longer resembles that of a human.

So who exactly is Tengen? Let's take a look at some facts about this character.

1. The Main Pillar of the Jujutsu System in Japan

Tengen is like the foundation of the jujutsu world. He is the one who created the protective barrier in Japan that remains active, so the activities of sorcerers will not be visible to ordinary people, and the movements of curses can be more controlled. Without the presence of Tengen's barrier, cursed spirits would appear massively because the distribution of cursed energy becomes unstable.

2. Risky Immortality Technique

Tengen is indeed immortal, but there is a price to pay. The longer he lives, the more he changes and slowly loses his humanity. Not only that, but his physical appearance is also far from that of a human being. He resembles a cursed spirit more than a human.

3. One of the Conditions to Remain Immortal

To remain stable, Tengen must merge with the Star Plasma Vessel every few hundred years. However, since this process once failed, its condition is now not fully controlled.

4. The Continuously Evolving Form

As a result of continuous evolution, Tengen's appearance has become strange and far from that of a regular human. Nevertheless, he still possesses sharp awareness and thinking.

5. Targeted by Kenjaku

Tengen has become a target for Kenjaku due to his extremely important powers. If he were to be controlled, the jujutsu system could be thrown into chaos—which is why he has become a key player in major conflicts like the Culling Game.
