The Love Journey of Sabrina Chairunnisa and Deddy Corbuzier, From Backstreet to Separation

The romantic relationship between Sabrina Chairunnisa and Deddy Corbuzier was first detected in June 2018. Deddy then admitted in December 2020 that the two had been in a relationship for seven years.

Several months after the news of this relationship broke in the media, Deddy Corbuzier proposed to Sabrina on her birthday. This news was followed by Deddy's decision to convert to Islam. 

After several years of being in a relationship, the two finally got married quietly on June 6, 2022, at the Fairmont Hotel in Central Jakarta. The wedding was closed to the public and went unnoticed by the media, but the happy news eventually came to light shortly thereafter.

Deddy and Sabrina's household came under the spotlight due to Sabrina's closeness with Azka Corbuzier and Nada Tarina, Deddy's children. They were often seen vacationing together and creating family content that showcased harmony and warmth.

As a married couple, both are often praised for continuing to give each other room to grow even after getting married. 

Sabrina is now known as a businesswoman and content creator, while also continuing her doctoral studies. Meanwhile, Deddy is expanding his career by venturing into the culinary business through a Padang restaurant and a cake shop. Many refer to them as the definition of a couple that grows together.

However, by the end of September 2025, rumors of their marital discord began to circulate. Sabrina was reported to be spending more time in Korea and rarely appeared with Deddy, sparking speculation that their relationship was not doing well.

In early October 2025, Deddy finally responded to the divorce issue by highlighting the actions of the public relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court.

"I think it's about time for me to finally talk about the issue and gossip surrounding the divorce that has been all over the place. I don't care if people want to judge me or call me names, whether they say I'm stingy or whatever, I don't care. They can call me lavender, I don't care, they can even call me crazy, I don't care. The only one who knows me is me," said Deddy.

"What I'm concerned about is one thing, which is the media to the religious court, where the public relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court can say that the documents are NOT available. What does NOT available mean? It means there is none!" he asserted.

However, Deddy's statement was refuted by the facts revealed by the Public Relations of the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Wednesday (29/10/2025). The public relations representative, Solahuddin, confirmed the filing of a divorce lawsuit submitted by Sabrina.

"It has indeed been registered at the Tigaraksa Religious Court on October 16, 2025. Filed by SC, the type of case means divorce lawsuit," said Solahuddin when met at his office on Wednesday (29/10/2025).
