"I need to pay for treatment, it costs a lot," said Mr. Tarno as reported by insertlive.com on Tuesday (28/10).
Hendro Widodo, as Mr. Tarno's legal counsel, stated that the incident of fraud began with an offer to buy an Avanza car. Mr. Tarno had already handed over Rp100 million to the suspected perpetrator.
Unfortunately, the promised car has not arrived. Mr. Tarno's money has also not been returned. Still reported from the same source, Mr. Tarno's money was partially returned amounting to Rp5 million through a previous lawyer, but Mr. Tarno only received Rp1 million.
"5 million IDR, but what Mr. Tarno received was 1 million IDR, right, Sir?" explained Hendro.
Realizing how significant that amount of money is for medical treatment, Hendro Widodo felt he had to take decisive action. He wanted to resolve this issue amicably, considering Mr. Tarno's declining health.
"We want to resolve the issue, and Mr. Tarno can also receive assistance for his medical treatment, right, Sir, on a daily basis. That’s the most important thing," concluded Hendro.
