Amid the 4-year prison sentence handed down to her, there lies a significant victory for Nikita Mirzani. In the ruling session, the panel of judges firmly stated that she was not proven guilty of the Money Laundering (TPPU) charges.

"The important thing is that the two charges are gone, so that's it. You can't say I'm a con artist, a fraudster again! Alhamdulillah," he exclaimed with a tone full of victory after the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (28/10/2025).

Nikita admitted that from the beginning, she had a strong feeling that the money laundering charges would not be proven. This confidence is based on the facts presented in the trial, which she believes are very clear.

"It's just normal, but I had a feeling since yesterday that the money laundering charge would definitely disappear," she revealed.

Her lawyer, Usman Lawara, also confirmed that they had often discussed this prediction. "God willing, 1000% the money laundering charge will not be proven. Today our prediction was indeed correct," Usman added.

As is known, this case began with a report from Reza Gladys. In the indictment, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) not only charged Nikita under the ITE Law, but also under the articles of extortion and money laundering, with a total demand of 11 years in prison.

Now, Nikita has only been found guilty of one article, namely Article 27B paragraph 2 of the ITE Law regarding threats of defamation.

Although she still has to face a sentence of 4 years in prison, her success in overturning these two most serious charges is a significant achievement.

Nikita is now ready to continue her fight at the appeal level, with stronger confidence. "So we are fighting in the appeal. Hopefully, the judges in the appeal will be wiser," she concluded.
