The Preliminary Hearing is Scheduled for September 19, Venna Melinda Wants Her Divorce Process with Ferry Irawan to be Completed Quickly

Kapanlagi.com - Venna Melinda feels relieved after officially filing for divorce from her husband, Ferry Irawan, at the South Jakarta Religious Court. The lawsuit was filed as a follow-up to the status of her divorce case, which was previously declared void. This was due to Ferry not fulfilling the divorce declaration pledge by the specified deadline.

In fact, the divorce case between Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda was decided by the South Jakarta Religious Court on August 3, 2023. However, after the decision became legally binding, Ferry, as the petitioner, did not proceed with the reading of the divorce declaration, which should have been an important step in the divorce process.

1. Return to Divorce Lawsuit

In response to Ferry's failure to fulfill his obligations, Venna Melinda, through her legal representatives, has refiled a divorce lawsuit against Ferry Irawan on September 3, 2024. This lawsuit has been registered under case number 3010/Pdt.G/2024/PAJS at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah, finally there is a lawsuit. Hopefully, it will be resolved quickly," said Venna Melinda in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (September 11, 2024).

2. Trust in the Legal Team

Venna admitted that she fully trusts this process to her legal team, Sandy Arifin and Kris. She believes that the team can handle her divorce case well.

"I really believe that Mas Sandy and Mas Kris can resolve it well," said Venna.

3. The Hearing Will Be Held on September 19

Furthermore, Venna also informed that her first divorce hearing with Ferry is scheduled to take place on September 19, 2024.

"God willing, on September 19," said Venna Melinda.

4. Ferry Did Not Perform the Talak Declaration

When asked further about Ferry's stance on not performing the talak declaration, Venna chose not to respond. She preferred to leave all technical matters of this divorce process to her legal team.

"Well, that's if it's technical with Mas Sandy and Mas Kris. Thank you," concluded Venna Melinda.
