The Reason Abidzar Al-Ghifari Returns to Star in a Stripping Soap Opera, Needs a Refresh

In this soap opera, Abidzar plays the character Satria, a man from a wealthy family who has a gentlemanly nature. Although the format of a soap opera is different from a film, he believes the approach to character development remains the same.

"Actually, it's pretty much the same, in my opinion, it's like there’s no difference, nothing too different. Everything is the same, we’re both acting, we’re both reading the script, we’re both deepening the character as well," explained Abidzar Al-Ghifari.

Abidzar also admitted that he feels comfortable working on Lautan Cinta because of the enjoyable shooting atmosphere. He feels a good fit with other actors like Cinta Brian and Chantiq Schagerl.

Moreover, the story of this soap opera is also one of the reasons that attracted him. According to Abidzar, the conflict in Lautan Cinta is quite strong, especially in the relationships between characters.

"And for sure, what makes you all feel so annoyed with the conflict between Jingga and her mother is that it’s really annoying," said Abidzar.

Abidzar hopes that his presence in Lautan Cinta can bring a new color for the audience. He is also committed to delivering his best performance even though the shooting rhythm of stripping is known to be intense.

"Satria is like someone who is willing to do anything for the person he loves. We spend quality time together, especially since those are the scenes where we are having fun," concluded Abidzar Al-Ghifari.
