The Reason Jonathan Frizzy Requested a Delay in Detention from the Prosecutor's Office

Kapanlagi.com - After officially being detained, Jonathan Frizzy's side had indeed submitted a request for a delay in detention. The reason given was related to the health condition of the 42-year-old actor.

"Ijonk continues to follow the legal process, but still requests to be granted a delay in detention. We are still considering it for now," said Made Agung Deja, Head of the Intelligence Section of the Tangerang City Prosecutor's Office, on Monday (14/7/2025).

1. Request for Delay

The request for a delay was officially submitted by Ijonk's legal team. However, as of now, the prosecutor's office has not made a final decision.

"The request was made by the attorney's side," he said.

2. No Official Request from the Family Yet

Meanwhile, from the family side, there has been no letter or official request submitted. The prosecutor's office claims to still be waiting while reviewing the impact on the legal process.

"From the family side, there is nothing visible at the moment, we are still waiting from the family as well," said Made.

3. Ijonk's Health Condition Needs Medical Attention

Ijonk's condition is said to still require medical attention even though he is generally declared healthy. He was taken to Siloam Hospital for further examination before entering the prison.

"For his health condition, he is still in a healthy state, but still has some bruises; last night he underwent examination at Siloam doctor," said Made.

"But there is still a little swelling; in the sitting position, Ijonk is still having some difficulty, but it is still a bit swollen. For the others, everything is normal according to the doctor's statement," he said.

4. Ijonk Given Infusion and Antibiotics

In the examination, Ijonk was given an infusion and antibiotics. The doctor did not prescribe any oral medication and the examination results were relatively normal.

"The results are normal, only an infusion was given. Then no medication was provided, only antibiotics through the infusion," said Made.

5. News on Indications of Severe Illness

Regarding the news of indications of severe illness, the public prosecutor's office provided clarification. According to Made, there is no strong evidence pointing to chronic illness yet.

"As for cancer, it is not visible at the moment. The indication is still very small. This is based on information from the Tangerang City Hospital," he emphasized.
