Stevianne Agnecya, or better known as Stevie Agnecya, passed away on Thursday night (21/3/2024). This sad news was conveyed by her friend through Instagram.
Perhaps, many KLovers do not know that Stevie Agnecya is a convert. She shared her spiritual journey on her personal Instagram account in May 2022. She decided to embrace Islam after marrying Anggi Pratama in 2017.
"A little story from me, I haven't written like this for 5 years, hopefully everyone who has criticized me will appreciate my decision. I used to be different from my husband, there was never any coercion. We both respected each other even though we were different at that time," she said back then.
After going through various processes, Samuel Rizal's ex-wife has made up her mind to become a convert. Initially, this decision was not fully welcomed by the people around her.
"Alhamdulillah, finally I chose to convert because it's my own heart's decision. There were many criticisms and pros and cons, but the most important thing is that my family accepts my choice," she explained.
After converting, Stevie Agnecya admitted that her life became more peaceful and happy. She was also seen wearing hijab several times in her daily life.
Stevie has also performed the Umrah pilgrimage twice with her husband. Through this Umrah journey, Stevie Agnecya expresses gratitude to Allah SWT for the kindness and ease she has received.
"I am deeply moved by the kindness of Allah. With Allah's answer to all my prayers. Thank you Allah for everything. Words cannot describe how magnificent You are in my life," she concluded.
In another post, Stevi admits that she is still in the process of deepening her understanding of Islam. Therefore, she is still not perfect in wearing the hijab as this is part of her spiritual journey.
Previously reported, the news of Stevie's passing was announced by her friend, Violenzia Jeanette. "Innalillahi wa innailaihi roji'un. Stevie Agnecya, the wife of Anggi Pratama, has passed away today (Thursday, 21/3) at 19:35 at RSCM," wrote her friend on her Instagram Story.
