The family's support for Vadel Badjideh has never wavered since he was first detained. Every week, a large family group routinely visits the Cipinang Detention Center bringing Vadel's favorite food.

This is done so that Vadel feels close to the home atmosphere even while in prison. During the latest visit, the family brought special food made directly by his mother.

Martin added that besides the putu cake, they also brought sponge cake as an additional snack. These foods are usually enjoyed by Vadel with his friends inside the detention center while relaxing. The presence of this homemade food is a very effective remedy for Vadel's longing.
