Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan was one of the earliest mourners to arrive. 

Anies' rival in the 2017 DKI gubernatorial election, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, also came to pay his respects. 

Unlike Anies, Ahok went straight into the house of mourning without answering a single word to the journalists' questions.

Musician Armand Maulana was seen arriving at the house of mourning when the sky was already dark.

Habib Jafar is one of the preachers who has a close relationship with Najwa Shihab's family. He has previously participated in events with Quraish Shihab, Najwa's father.

The 10th and 12th Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, was also seen present that night. 

Musician Addie MS took the time to attend the mourning house to express condolences to the family of the deceased.
