"August 17, 2008, was a special moment that we will never forget. Not only because it is Indonesia's Independence Day, which is important, but what is very important for mom and dad is the birth of our first daughter, Almira Tungga Dewi Yudhoyono. And then breastfeeding was so much fun that she quickly gained weight," said AHY.

Annisa Pohan also shared the story behind the delivery of her only daughter. At that time, Almira's birth actually came earlier than the expected date, causing a sense of panic and nervousness.
In an old article released in 2008, this shift occurred due to the placenta maturing faster than expected. Annisa Pohan herself admitted to feeling so anxious that she couldn't sleep in the lead-up to the delivery.
"When the doctor said that I had to deliver sooner and immediately, I was quite panicked and very nervous because all I had been waiting for was the birth of Aira. So on the big day, I was very nervous to meet Aira, I couldn't even sleep that night," shared Annisa Pohan.

Despite changes in schedule and feelings of anxiety, the delivery process for Annisa Pohan went smoothly. The cesarean section was performed at Pondok Indah Hospital (RSPI) in Jakarta. Annisa Pohan entered the operating room at 05:30 WIB. The cesarean operation took place quite quickly. In her story, Annisa Pohan expressed gratitude for the smoothness of her daughter's birth.
"Finally, thank God at 6:20 AM Aira was born with a very loud cry. Just as dad said earlier, Aira latched on well in the first hour on mom's chest. Thank God," she revealed.

"We always moved because we followed dad on duty, since dad is an Indonesian Army officer, but Aira is good at adapting, from when we were in Karawang, Cijantung, Boston, then to Fort Benning, Leavenworth, Aira often changed schools," explained Annisa Pohan.
Even though she moved frequently, Aira always managed to build friendships well.
"But, even though she often changed schools, Aira always had many friends, was liked by her friends, and even had best friends in every school," added Annisa Pohan.
