1. Prilly Latuconsina

Prilly Latuconsina is known as an actress who often successfully portrays the characters she plays. Who would have thought that the girl born in 1996 has also published books while pursuing her career as an actress.

Prilly has published a total of three books. Her first book titled 5 Seconds and Longing was first published in 2017. 5 Seconds and Longing is her first collection of poetry.

Unlike her first book, which is a collection of poetry, Prilly wrote her second book in novel format. Her first novel titled Mirage tells the story of the poems she had written in her previous collection of poetry.

Not stopping there, at the beginning of 2020, Prilly surprised her fans with a sneak peek of her third book. Prilly's third book titled Middle Space of Memory was published in April 2020.

2. Dewi Lestari

Dewi Lestari, or better known by the name Dee Lestari, is one of the famous celebrities as well as a writer. Starting her career in music, she joined the vocal group RSD (Rida Sita Dewi) and successfully released several albums in her music career.

Dee Lestari first published her writings in the form of fiction novels titled Supernova: Kesatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh and its sequel Supernova: Akar. Her first book was published in 2001 and received a lot of positive responses from her fans.

Dee Lestari's first book even made it into the Top 5 Khatulistiwa Literary Award 2001. Followed by its sequel, which also made it into the Top 10 Khatulistiwa Award 2003. Dee Lestari wrote a total of six books for this Supernova series.

Some of her books have also been famous for being adapted into feature films, two of which are titled Filosofi Kopi and Perahu Kertas. Besides the book versions, both film adaptations of these books also achieved tremendous success upon their release.

3. Ayudia Bing Slamet

Ayudia Bing Slamet together with her husband, Ditto Percussion, are known for their book titled Teman tapi Menikah. The book Teman tapi Menikah tells the story of their relationship that started as friends and ended with a marriage bond.

The book, written by both of them, explains how Ditto and Ayudia lived their friendship before deciding to get married.

This book, Teman tapi Menikah, has also been adapted into a film. The Teman tapi Menikah series has a total of two film adaptations released in 2018, along with a sequel in 2020. The film titled #TEMANTAPIMENIKAH features Adipati Dolken as Ditto, and Vanesha Prescilla and Mawar Eva de Jongh as Ayudia Bing Slamet in both films.

4. Oki Setiana Dewi

Oki Setiana Dewi is a film star and also a famous female preacher in the country. She got her first role as Anna in the film KETIKA CINTA BERTASBIH which was released in 2009. Oki Setiana Dewi's name soared thanks to the success of the film.

Oki released her first book in 2011. The book titled Melukis Pelangi tells the story of Oki's life, from her childhood in her birthplace, Batam, to how she strives to achieve her dreams. She poured out her efforts to remain steadfast in the midst of the hardships of realizing her dreams.

Since releasing her first book, the sister of YouTuber Ria Ricis has been regularly writing her books. From the first time her book was published, Oki Setiana Dewi has written a total of seven books released almost every year until 2018.

5. Pandji Pragiwaksono

Pandji Pragiwaksono is a familiar name among Indonesian celebrities. Pandji is known for various professions, such as a stand-up comedian, actor, rap musician, presenter, and radio host. In addition, Pandji is also known as an author and has published several books.

His first book was published in 2009 with the title How I Sold 1000 CDs in 30 Days. The book tells the strategies used by Pandji in marketing his hip-hop CDs.

He published his second book the following year. The book titled Nasional.is.me summarizes how Indonesia looks from Pandji's perspective. In the following years, Pandji regularly published books related to his field.

In addition to written works, Pandji has also published two illustration or comic books titled Degalings and Partikelir. He collaborated with illustrators Shani Budi Pandita and Sweta Kartika in publishing both illustration books.
